Switch Audio File Converter

Switch comes in handy if you want to convert music files from one format to another. Load one or multiple music files, pick an output format, click a button, and that’s it. Switch will take the files you load and quickly convert them to the format you choose.

Switch is available for multiple platforms. And more to the point, Switch is available for Windows-powered and for OS X-powered machines. This means you can use it on Microsoft’s and on Apple’s operating systems.
Please note that the setup wizard that will help you install Switch on your Windows PC will ask to install some additional software.

The application's interface is made up of three panels. At the top there’s a toolbar with buttons for various functions the application can perform. In the middle there’s a panel that lists all the music files you picked to be converted. And down at the bottom there’s a panel that allows you to choose and open the output folder, select the output format, and launch the conversion process.

Converting music files with Switch is a very simple 3-step process:
Step 1 – select the files you want to convert. You can add a single file, add multiple files, add a folder, add a CD, or add a DVD.
Step 2 – tell Switch what you want it to do. This means you will have to pick an output format (all popular formats are supported), pick the output folder, pick if you want to normalize volume when converting.
Step 3 – launch the conversion process and wait for it to complete.
